He has also done consulting work and federal funding projects for clients including the OECD, the U.S. Department of Defense, The U.S. Department of Education, the Open Data Institute, The Transparency Initiative, The UK Government Digital Service, and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

			In 2019 he co-founded and served as Chief Research Officer for FairFrame, a startup using machine learning and natural language processing to identify implicit bias in text. FairFrame was acquired by Aleria in 2021.

			Asare is married to Mariah Asare. The Asares have three children.
