Don Griffin Jr.

Don Griffin, Jr. is the founder of Griffin Realty Holdings, Inc. which he started in 2003. Griffin's work has included service on the five-member Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation board, the Bloomington redevelopment commission.
Griffin was appointed by Bloomington mayor John Hamilton to serve as deputy mayor starting in late April of 2021. Griffin resigned the deputy mayorship in 2022, when he resigned to run for the Democratic Party's nomination for mayor. The three-way primary race between Kerry Thomson, Sandberg, and Griffin was won by Thomson.
